Achieving the ISO Perfect Score

{filedir 6}Barb with ISO Certificate - Achieving the ISO Perfect Score

In September of 2022, Impact Recovery Systems® scored a perfect score on our ISO certification!  Every three years Impact Recovery Systems goes through a recertification audit called The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) certification.  ISO is an independent, non-governmental, international organization that develops standards to ensure the quality, safety, and efficiency of products, services, and systems.  This audit certifies that a management system, manufacturing process, service, or documentation procedure has all the requirements for standardization and quality assurance.

In 2010, Impact Recovery Systems received their first ISO certification.  The recertification audit occurs every three years.  The two years following the recertification audit there are also surveillance audits yearly. The company has repeated the audit several times and this past August was no different.  This year’s audit lasted three days and Impact Recovery Systems passed with flying colors. There were no findings, and no corrective actions.

The ISO certification shows that Impact Recovery Systems creates good quality products.  This audit drives the company to promote continuous improvements and manufacture high-quality products.  Productions and Purchasing Manager Barbara Cheatham stated, “All of our audits go well, because we have an awesome team that gets prepared, and the auditors know we care.”

Impact Recovery Systems will continue to keep the company in line with quality control and continuous improvements.  The company will continue to grow and improve because as Cheatham stated, “There is always room for improvement.”

Congratulations to the team for their commitment to quality in everything they do!
