Today, Impact Recovery Systems’® President Greg Hannah celebrated his 30th anniversary with the company. Family, friends, and employees gathered to mark this momentous occasion and congratulate Greg on his vision and dedication.
Greg joined Impact Recovery Systems in 1991 (the same year the company was founded) and brought with him a breadth of experience and knowledge that has been invaluable to the company.
What started as a 5,000 sq. ft. company with eight employees, has grown into a thriving international organization with one location in Texas and one in Belgium with facilities totaling 60,000 sq. ft. and 54 employees. Originally from Mississippi, Greg attended Delta State University, where he earned his Bachelor’s of Business Administration. However, he has called Texas home for 30 years now.
Over the last 30 years, Greg’s leadership has shaped Impact Recovery Systems® into the company it is today. Expanding beyond roadway work zones, Impact Recovery Systems now designs and manufactures high-performance flexible traffic and safety devices throughout the world. Additionally, Impact Recovery Systems® has three divisions of products: Traffic, SlowStop Guarding Systems, LLC,® and Sentinel Between Car Barrier System, and their products have prominent applications in the United States, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, England, France, Japan, the Netherlands, Taiwan, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, and more.
President Greg Hannah notes, “We have received multiple awards for manufacturer and product innovation and we continually work to bring our customers the high quality and lasting durability they expect from our products.” He also credits loyal customers and hardworking employees for the success of Impact Recovery Systems, and is excited for the continued growth and success of the company into the future.
Customer Service Manager, Tracy Wencka, has worked alongside Greg for 26 years. She notes, “It has been a pleasure working with Greg. He has been a mentor and an inspiration to me and the other members of the Impact Recovery Systems® team. He truly cares about us, something which is evident in the fact that many of our employees have been part of the team for 10 years or more. I am so pleased to be able to celebrate such a special milestone.”
