The 6” SlowStop® IronFlex Elbow Connector allows you to build horseshoes, corner guards and column protectors without the need for welding pipe. Simply slide the pipe into the elbow connector and tighten the setscrews. Multiple bases connected and used together greatly increase the stopping power of the SlowStop® System. This modular system provides you with the ultimate versatility for creating and modifying your guarding systems to fit your exact needs.
Coupled with our incredibly strong 6” SlowStop pedestal, this connector is ideally suited for your most demanding heavy industry needs. A simple 6” horseshoe can stop 80,000 pounds at nearly 4 mph without sustaining any damage. Stopping power is unrivaled in the industry for surface mounted protective devices.
Fits our 6” pipe (ANSI 6” Schedule 40 6.630” OD) which can also be field cut if needed.
